CT ECO includes two types of online reference documents that describe the information available in CT ECO. By explaining the information as simply as possible, these guides are intended to help you understand how to use a particular map, map theme, or data layer included in the Map Catalog, Simple Data Viewer, Advanced Data Viewer, or Map Service. For convenience, Basic Data Guides may also be accessed directly from the Map Catalog, Simple Data Viewer, Advanced Data Viewer, and Map Service sections of CT ECO. Listed below are all of the Basic Data Guides in CT ECO. Each one provides basic information including a description, purpose, use limitations, data date, link to the related Complete Resource Guide for a more thorough description, and a link to GIS metadata for technical documetation of the underlying data source. Refer to Connecticut Digital Orthophotography for a list and brief description of orthophotography available in CT ECO.
